About JCRSEA
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of JCRSEA is to assist the retiree to remain connected with issues that have been of interest and concern during the years of employment with Jefferson County Schools. The monthly newsletter provides valuable information on issues concerning PERA, the Colorado Legislature, health insurance, cost of living, compensation and other issues that affect a retiree's future. Members stay connected with other retired Jeffco colleagues at the monthly luncheons.
JCRSEA is aligned with CSSPERA (Colorado School and Public Employee Retirement Association). CSSPERA assists in protecting PERA benefits, provides newsletter communications concerning state-wide issues, and offers access, on an optional basis, to special benefit plans such as health, social, auto, etc.
